I'm the type of person who loves trying different things, learning new things, figuring them out and then moving on which is probably why I've spent so many years working on narrow down and contemplating what I want to do with my life. I think I've figured out that maybe this IS how I like to live and it's just part of who I am and I'm starting to be OK with it.
I've been a Dental Assistant, worked as a Sales Rep and became a Certified Interior Decorator, and most recently and currently work in Volunteer Service at Habitat for Humanity as a Coordinator, all of which have added to unique characteristics in me. I haven't actually found just one thing that I clearly have a passion for or really loved doing constantly, every day of my life but there are many things I love doing, "sometimes".
There is one thing however that has always been in my life that I turn to when other things aren't going as planned and that has always seemed to make me happy. I love being creative. Working with furniture and creating unique pieces has become my "constant" outlet.
Now as I work and watch my children while they cruise through the early years, I find I need something to keep me sane in all the insanity around me, something that I love that is just for me.
This is it!
I've started having fun selling the pieces I've created, refinishing furniture for clients and am in the process of starting a new adventure of producing unique upcycled wood sculptures as well.
I currently live in Burlington, Ontario Canada
